We are pleased to provide the information below about the sponsorship opportunities for our 2023-2024 season, and hope that your organization will consider being either a Full Season Underwriter or a Concert Sponsor.
December Program: “‘Tis the Season” Our audiences will be treated to the festive music of Christmas, Hanukkah, and the Winter Solstice, performed in the unparalleled acoustics of the Damariscotta Baptist Church. Guest artists are award-winning fiddler, Owen Kennedy and acclaimed bass-baritone, John D. Adams. There will also be a full complement of instrumentalists and the traditional audience sing-along.
June Program: “Songs of Maine” Tapestry Singers had planned a musical tribute to the Maine Bicentennial. Rehearsals began in January 2020 and then the pandemic shut everything down. This is our belated celebration with nods to Maine’s cultural roots. It includes folk songs of the woods and the waterfront, an Algonquin water song, and Shaker tunes. There are also four pieces based on the works of some of Maine’s most prolific poets.
