Music of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Winter Solstice
Tapestry Singers is pleased to present our holiday concert, ‘Tis the Season, featuring Bass/Baritone John D. Adams, and award-winning fiddler, Owen Kennedy. The program includes the festive music of Christmas, Hanukkah, and the Winter Solstice, performed in the unparalleled acoustics of the Damariscotta Baptist Church. The concert will open with the rousing songs, “Malpas Wassail” and “Drive the Cold Winter Away” and then continue with many more beautiful songs of the season, both sacred and secular. The group will be accompanied by a full complement of instrumentalists and organist, Sean Fleming.
